Church Profile

We are a group of Christians who care about our salvation and the salvation of others. We follow the teachings of the Bible. We use the New Testament as a road map to heaven. We use the Old Testament as a guide to measure how far we've come and where we've been.

We belong to the Body of Christ. We are his. He is our first priority in life.

Our congregation is very diverse.  We come together from all parts of the county.  We consider ourselves very conservative and grounded firmly in the teachings of the Bible.  We speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent where the Bible is silent.  We do consider ourselves progressive to the extent that we use the latest teaching tools to spread the good news; whether it be an overhead Power Point software/computer presentation from the pulpit or fellowshipping with each other through softball, volleyball, golf outings, paintball, and/or joint devotions with other congregations.

We assist our members in time of spiritual need. We also consider it our duty to be benevolent to all men but especially to the household of faith. We meet regularly to worship the God we serve. We pray fervently for the hope of a home in heaven. Heaven is the place we seek...the place of the saved...a place found only by following the narrow road.

Youth Rally:  This Fall our Youth Rally will change from a 2 day, Friday & Saturday to a one day, Sunday afternoon rally. There are many conflicts with this weekend, ACT test, Band Competitions, Friday Night Football games, etc. We have elected to try a Sunday afternoon @5:00 worship service, 6:00 meal and 7:00 devotional. Lonnie Jones is our Keynote speaker for the evening and he'll speak twice. Hopefully this will not be as intrusive on our weekend schedule.
